1. Cancellation
In case of cancellation later than 2 p.m. on the day of arrival, 100% of the cost of the stay will be charged. These cancellation conditions do not apply to non-refundable reservations and promotions.
Non-refundable reservations cannot be cancelled, nor can changes be made to these reservations. At all times, 100% of the cost of the stay will be charged.

2. Payments
The stay shall be paid for at the latest upon check-in, unless expressly stipulated otherwise. On the due date of unpaid invoices, these will automatically and without prior notice incur an annual charge of 15%, with a minimum charge of € 35.
In case of disputes, only the Ghent court is competent.

3. Reservation
A reservation request from the customer must always be confirmed by ibis budget Gent centrum Dampoort. Without the confirmation, there is no question of a reservation or a booking.

4. Prices
The prices listed are subject to errors or a clearly different price. In such cases, the hotelier has the right to cancel the booking.

5. Information on the website
Ibis budget Gent centrum Dampoort will make reasonable efforts to provide correct and up-to-date information on its website. However, Ibis budget Gent centrum Dampoort can never be held liable for any form of direct, indirect or incidental damage resulting from the use of or inability to use this website. The ibis budget Gent centrum Dampoort cannot be held liable for the content of this website and any incorrect information it may contain.

6. Pets
Pets are not allowed in the Ibis budget Gent centrum Dampoort.

7. Arrival
Check-in is from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival.
Rooms are guaranteed on the day of arrival if a deposit or credit card number is paid.

8. Departure - Check-out
We ask you to leave the room on the day of departure before 12.00 noon.

9. Stay
In case of damage caused by the customer, the persons accompanying him or the persons in his charge to the movable and immovable goods of Hotel Ibis budget Gent centrum Dampoort, the damage must be compensated at the simple request of Ibis budget Gent centrum Dampoort and this at the latest upon departure of the customer.
We are not liable for damage or loss to/from vehicles parked on the hotel grounds, nor their contents.

10. No smoking
In Belgium, smoking is generally prohibited in public places. In compliance with this law, all rooms are exclusively rented as non-smoking rooms. Should the smell of smoke arise or be left behind in the room (or in any other public non-smoking area of the hotel), cleaning and/or repair costs will be charged. The hotel will calculate these costs on the basis of the nuisance and damage suffered, with a minimum of €125.

11. Liability
Ibis budget Gent centrum Dampoort accepts no liability for:
- Theft, loss or damage, of any kind, during or as a result of a stay in our hotel.
- The malfunctioning or shutting down of technical equipment.
Guests and persons accompanying them are primarily liable for all loss and/or damage suffered by the Ibis budget Gent centrum Dampoort as a direct or indirect result of their stay, whether caused by their own actions or omissions or by those of third parties who are in the hotel through their fault, as well as for all damage caused by any animal and/or property in their possession. Additional (cleaning) costs may be charged in the event of improper use (and thus failure to leave the hotel room in a proper condition).

12. Force majeure
Force majeure on the part of Ibis budget Gent centrum Dampoort exists when the fulfilment of the agreement is wholly or partly, temporarily or otherwise, prevented by circumstances beyond the control of Ibis budget Gent centrum Dampoort, including
War risk, personnel strikes, blockades, fire, floods and other disturbances or events.

13. Complaints
Despite all the care taken by Ibis budget Gent centrum Dampoort, it may happen that you have a justified complaint. You must report this complaint on the spot, at the latest upon your departure, in order to give Ibis budget Gent centrum Dampoort the opportunity to resolve the matter immediately. Should the complaint not be dealt with satisfactorily, you have 14 days after departure at the latest to submit your complaint in writing by e-mail to HA243@accor.com.
